HomeRun Raises $12 Million Series A+ to Expand Construction Materials Quick Commerce Across India

Bengaluru-based construction materials quick commerce startup HomeRun has raised $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, as it looks to accelerate expansion across India’s rapidly growing construction and home improvement market.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium, reinforcing investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.

The latest investment follows HomeRun’s $6.6 million funding round earlier this year. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand into new markets, strengthen its supply chain, enhance its technology platform, and broaden its product portfolio as the company scales operations.

Founded by Pukhraj Grewal, HomeRun is building a quick commerce platform focused on construction and interior materials. The company enables contractors and homeowners to receive essential building materials within 60 minutes, addressing one of the biggest challenges in construction—timely access to supplies.

Its product catalogue spans a wide range of construction essentials, including cement, plywood, paints, wires, hardware, and other building materials, positioning the platform as a one-stop solution for construction procurement.

According to the company, HomeRun has fulfilled more than 100,000 orders and achieved 8X growth over the past year. Currently operating in Bengaluru, the startup has continued expanding across its core product categories while strengthening its operational capabilities.

Founder Pukhraj Grewal brings prior experience from the construction ecosystem, having previously co-founded interior contracting startup Tornado and construction labour marketplace Project Hero.

HomeRun operates in an emerging segment that is applying the quick commerce model to construction materials, bringing speed and convenience to a traditionally fragmented industry. The company competes with established building material retailers as well as startups such as IBO and Material Depot, while the category continues to attract increasing investor interest.

For Nexus Venture Partners, the investment further strengthens its portfolio of early-stage startups. The venture capital firm closed its eighth fund worth $700 million last year to back high-growth companies across sectors including artificial intelligence, enterprise software, consumer technology, and fintech in India and the United States.

With fresh capital, strong growth momentum, and an expanding operational footprint, HomeRun is positioning itself to redefine construction materials procurement through technology-enabled, rapid delivery and a scalable supply chain.
