Hyderabad-based direct-to-consumer dairy brand Sid’s Farm has raised over ₹81 crore ($8.4 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by Omnivore, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO), Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures, and LIO, along with participation from a consortium of other investors.
The latest investment marks another milestone in the company’s growth journey. In June 2024, Sid’s Farm had secured $10 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Omnivore and NSFO, following a $1 million bridge round in January 2023 that was backed by its customers and their referrals.
Founded in 2016 by Dr. Kishore Indukuri, Sid’s Farm operates a direct-to-consumer dairy business offering fresh milk and a range of dairy and food products. The brand has built its positioning around product quality, claiming that every batch of milk undergoes testing across more than 45 quality and safety parameters, with over 10,000 quality tests conducted every day.
The newly raised capital will be deployed to strengthen the company’s supply chain, expand its manufacturing and distribution capabilities, invest in product innovation, deepen partnerships with dairy farmers, and support expansion into new markets.
Sid’s Farm currently works with more than 5,000 dairy farmers, supporting them through fair procurement practices, veterinary services, and farmer education programmes. The company says this farmer-first approach enables it to maintain quality standards while creating long-term value across its supply network.
Today, the brand serves over 50,000 families across multiple cities and plans to use the funding to accelerate its next phase of growth by expanding access to its products in additional regions.
India’s premium dairy and fresh food segment continues to witness increasing consumer demand for quality-focused, traceable, and direct-to-consumer products. By strengthening its operations, expanding distribution, and investing in innovation, Sid’s Farm is positioning itself for the next stage of growth in the country’s evolving dairy market, where it competes with brands such as Country Delight and Akshayakalpa Organic.
